Expanded Control of Chin State by Rebel Forces
The Chin State Rebels, led by the Chin National Revolutionary Army (CNRA) and allied forces, have successfully expanded their control across several key towns and territories. Following their offensive in Mindat and Falam, the rebels have secured control over towns such as Matupi, Tun Zan, Khi Kha, and Lai Lin Pi. Their success reflects the increasing strength and coordination among the various factions opposing the military in Chin State.
Rebel spokesman Salai Tin Mi emphasized that these operations aim to establish a stronger foothold and diminish the military’s influence in the region. The seizure of weapons and ammunition during these campaigns further strengthens their capacity for sustained resistance, setting the stage for continued territorial gains.
